Creating an opt-in offer for your blog that builds your email list is a must if you want to make money online and successfully build your network marketing business or really any business for that matter.
However, many people get stuck when it comes to creating that opt-in offer. They don’t know what to offer people and they try to come up with something and the offer that they come up with doesn’t work like they would like an offer to work for them. Here are some ideas about what to do to create such an offer.

1. Avoid general and bland things such as get blog updates or subscribe to my newsletter. These are very outdated and people get too much email in today’s age and they won’t sign up without specifics about what they will get.

2. Make your offer packed with value. In order to get long term subscribers who buy from you and who join you, you have to offer a lot of value. In fact, your offer should be something that many people would be willing to pay for.

3. Think hard about what people who are visiting your site will be looking for that they cannot get elsewhere and then give that to them.

4. Consider what you could give away that would encourage the kind of subscriber who you want. You also want an offer that will encourage people to purchase a paid upgrade of some kind.

5. What can you give away that supports the products or services that you sell with your network marketing business? It may be free samples or a related information product.

6. What can you create and give away that is unique? Your offer needs to be different from all of the other reports, videos and other freebies that people can find elsewhere online.

Do these things and you will have a winning offer. You may still need to test some things like your headline and opt-in box wording but you will get results.

One of the challenges when marketing online is finding or creating graphics and images that you can legally use with your blog, website, and other online marketing. You can hire a graphic designer and for some things you should, but, if you do it for everything then it gets expensive. Here are some resources you can use to create your own images and graphics for your online marketing:

1. http://xheader.com
This is by far the best free way to create header graphics for your blog, capture pages and more. There is an option for you to purchase additional header graphics if you want, but you don’t have to. I use this tool all the time and I love it.

2. http://bannerfans.com
This is a great site that lets you create your own custom banners in all shapes and sizes. This is how I created the square banner that is on my fan page at http://facebook.com/healthandwealthwithannalaura

3. http://fotoflexer.com/- This is my favorite free online photo editor. You can create original images or you can edit images that you already have.

4. http://magmypic.com This is a cool and fun site that lets you put your picture on the cover of magazines.

5. http://www.myecovermaker.com/- Make free on inexpensive ebook covers. There is a selection of ones that are free and others that you have to pay a small fee for.

Have you turned on your subscribe button on facebook? Regardless of whether you have or not, here are some reasons why the subscribe button on facebook is so powerful for network marketers and why you should consider turning it on.

1. It allows a lot more people to see your posts. Anyone can subscribe without being your friend. However, this does not mean they will see everything. In fact, they will only see the posts you have marked as public. So posts sent only to the members of a certain list or marked as private will not be visible.

2. Since you can only have 5,000 friends, using the subscribe button lets people who want to see your posts and connect with you but who are too late to be your friend because you have reached the limit or who do not fit your friends and family or ideal target market list still follow your posts.

Do you have a niche market for your online marketing? I certainly hope so. If not, sooner or later you will find that you will have to have one in order to experience the kind of success that you probably want to have online. So how do you choose a niche market?

Here are some tips to help you choose a niche market for your online marketing:

1. What do you like to do? How many other people like to do the same thing? If the market is large enough then you should at least consider using it.

2. Who are the people who use your products already? Make a list of all of the niches involved.

3. Who are the people who could benefit from your products even if they may not be those who use the most often? Make a list of these niches too.

4. Who are the people who could benefit most from your opportunity and from making money?

5. What are your interests? It is usually easier to market online to people who have interests similar to yours.

Follow these steps you will choose a niche market for your online marketing that will ensure that you are a lot more successful online.

Having a niche marketing strategy for your network marketing business is a crucial part of your success. Yet many people completely miss it and especially when it comes to online network marketing. I offer a lot more specifics with my free 8 video series on online niche marketing, but in general here is how you create a niche marketing strategy for your network marketing business.

1. Choose a niche. You can have up to five niches over the long-term but you will want to choose one to start with and you will want to focus on generating leads with that niche first.

2. Do some research to find the top 2-3 social networks where the majority of people in that niche hang-out. This is not the same for all niches so you do not want to automatically assume that it is. Facebook is generally a good idea for all niches but as far as the other social networks go, it varies from niche to niche.

3. Do keyword research to determine what keywords people in that niche are entering in Google and other search engines when they go looking for information. You want as long a list as possible. You can use a tool like wordtracker or the Google Keyword Tool for adwords.

4. Make a list of as many topics for blog posts, articles and videos as you can.

5. Start creating at least 3 new pieces of content with your list of keywords every week and sharing them online both on your own blog and on your social networks.

6. Do some research to see what other websites, blogs and videos are out there that target the same niche. Take note of what they are doing that seems to be working and what is not working.

7. Be consistent.

Do these things and you will succeed with marketing to a niche online for your network marketing business.

Building a network marketing business online can cause even those of us who do not have ADD to act like we have it in one way or another. Here are some tips on how to stay focused when working your network marketing business online.

1. Have clear and specific goals for your online networking. Examples include: how many leads you will generate per day, how many conversations you will have with people on facebook etc.

2. Use a timer when working with social media or on anything in which you can have a tendency to spend too much time.

3. Work on videos, articles and blog posts in blocks of a few hours per week rather than spending a few minutes here or there.

4. Have a clear and defined action schedule for each day of the week and stick to it.

5. Avoid working on too many projects at once. Get one site or blog profitable before you start working on another one.

How to Build a Targeted Following on Twitter

Twitter will not work for your network marketing business or for any business for that matter unless you have built a targeted following. You have to have a target market focus on twitter just like you do with facebook, linkedin, and every other social media site.

That said, how do you do it?

Here are a couple of tips:

1. Make sure that you complete your twitter profile and that you include keywords that your target market would enter in when searching for people to follow on twitter.

2. Follow people yourself that are in your target market. Avoid auto-following since that can result in you following a bunch of non-targeted people that you may not want to follow. Too many people also use autobots on twitter and so it is best to only follow people by hand that you know you want to follow. You are not obligated to follow back everyone who follows you, nor should you.

3. Share tweets that are related to and that talk about the problems, questions and concerns of your target market. You can realistically have 2-3 main target markets for one twitter account and multiple twitter accounts if you really want to. However, it can become time consuming and confusing to have too many twitter accounts.

4. Ask questions related to your target market and communicate with people on twitter and avoid just broadcasting.
